The Fernie and District Teachers’ Association is committed to ensuring that a safe workplace exists for all teachers.
The FDTA, CDTA and School District 5 (SD5) have partnered to provide the teachers in SD5 with an opportunity to seek mentorship.
One of the primary goals of the FDTA is to promote the continuous career long, professional growth of our members.
Who we are
The Fernie and District Teachers’ Association has been in existence since 1983 and is a union of professionals representing public school teachers in Fernie, Elkford, Sparwood and Jaffray.
